Terms of Service
Last updated: 6 July 2026
These terms govern your use of the MedAmp website and service. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
1. What MedAmp is
MedAmp provides guidance and self-assessment tools for UK specialty training applicants. It is not an official assessment. It is not affiliated with NHS England, Health Education England, or any royal college. Scores, projections, and AI feedback are indicative only and are provided to help you prepare. You are responsible for checking the current official criteria published by the relevant recruitment body before you apply.
2. Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 16 years old to use the service. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Let us know at hello@medamp.co.uk if you believe your account has been compromised.
3. Acceptable use
- Do not upload patient-identifiable data. Remove names, NHS and hospital numbers, dates of birth, addresses, and any other identifiers before you upload anything. Accounts that repeatedly attempt to upload patient-identifiable data may be restricted or suspended.
- Do not upload content you do not have the right to share.
- Do not use the service to harass, defraud, or harm any other person.
- Do not attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, or overload the service.
4. Your content and our content
You keep ownership of everything you upload. You grant us a limited licence to store and process that content only to operate the service for you, including storing your selections and generating the AI feedback you request. All other site content, including the scoring frameworks, explanatory copy, layout, and code, is owned by MedAmp or its licensors and may not be copied or reused without permission.
5. Availability
We aim to keep the service available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend, or remove features at any time.
6. Limitation of liability
The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law we exclude all implied warranties. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence or for fraud. Subject to that, our total liability arising out of or in connection with the service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or £100.
7. Termination
You can close your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms or that we reasonably believe pose a security or safety risk.
8. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We will give reasonable notice of material changes through the service or by email. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.
